Sheena is a qualified Chartered Physiotherapist with many years experience in the NHS and eighteen years in the private sector. She has extensive post graduate training in neck and back conditions including the McKenzie regime, pilates, swiss ball core stability work, muscle energy techniques and acupuncture. She has wide experience in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, back & neck problems, orthopaedic conditions, surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, trauma and work related conditions such as repetitive strain injuries.
Sheena is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and is state registered with the Health Professional Council. She is also a member of the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice (OCPPP), the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (ACPOHE).
Louisa Dingwall

Louisa qualified as a registered General Nurse in 1990, gaining experience in general medicine and surgery prior to commencing studies in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture at the Northern College of Medicine, York. Throughout her training she continued to work in high dependency units in Glasgow hospitals and qualified from the Northern Institute of Massage as a Remedial and Deep Tissue Massage therapist. Louisa graduated in 1996 with a licentiate in acupuncture. Since graduating Louisa has received post-graduate training at the College of Integrated Medicine, Reading and has attended many seminars held by eminent acupuncturists.
Louisa is a member of the British Acupuncture Council. She has practiced in a number of clinical settings throughout Glasgow, establishing and maintaining a large clientele. She uses acupuncture to successfully reduce/resolve a myriad of symptoms and has particular experience in treating musculoskeletal conditions.
Karen Docherty

Karen Docherty

Karen has VTCT certified Diploma's in Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy, Advanced Massage and Reflexology. She is also a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
Since graduating in 2010, she has worked with a variety of clients including Scottish Ballet. She has also spent time shadowing other therapists, learning a variety of techniques that she can integrate into her masssage.
Lorraine Harkins

Lorraine has long been an ardent and passionate advocate of natural skincare treatments and products.
Her interest began fifteen years ago while working for a globally recognised cosmetic and skincare company. She was horrified to discover that not only were the ingredients in the products mainly toxic, but some were even linked to cancer. Already a qualified nurse and aromatherapist she then went on to study and qualify in holistic therapy in 2001, and studied under Kundan Mehta in London to become a specialist in the technique of natural facelift massage.
Lorraine has integrated this technique with Japanese acupressure to produce the Skin Guru Facelift Massage. Each client's treatment is tailor-made to their specific skincare requirements to achieve optimum results. All the ingredients used in Lorraine's bespoke facial treatments are natural, organic and ethically sourced.

BarĂ¡ is an experienced therapist who previously ran a successful clinic in Reykjavik, Iceland before moving to Scotland. In 1997 Bara studied at the Massage School of Iceland where she gained a Diploma in Swedish Massage, Therapeutic Massage, Reflexology, Sports Massage, Lymphatic drainage, Aromatherapy and basic Kinesiology (touch for health).
She also recently gained a Masters Degree/Honourary Diploma from the Massage School of Iceland and has undertaken training in Natural Nutrition.

Maureen is a graduate of the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading where she studied Five Element Constitutional Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine for three and a half years. She has completed postgraduate training in: Acupuncture for fertility; Acupuncture whilst preparing for assisted reproduction treatment; Acupuncture for facial revitalisation; and Chinese Patent Herbal remedies.
Maureen holds a Licentiate in Acupuncture from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine and a Diploma in Chinese Patent Herbal remedies. She is also a member of the British Acupuncture Council. Margot is an experienced massage therapist holding Diplomas in both Swedish Massage and Remedial & Sports Massage. A member of the Scottish Massage Therapists' Organisation and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council, she has been in practice in Glasgow for a number of years. In addition to her practical work, she is also a Teaching Assistant at the Western School of Massage in Glasgow. She is a strong believer in the importance of massage in promoting both physical and emotional wellbeing, and in 2010 she undertook a Post Graduate Course in Massage for People Living with Cancer.

Paul is a member of the Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation and first qualified in 2002. He has gained qualifications in various massage treatments and continues to update his studies. He gained a Diploma in Remedial & Sports Massage in 2007, has attended advanced massage workshops and recently conpleted Level 1 in Integrated Myofascial Therapy.
Paul provided massage at the prestigious Loch Lomond Golf Club during summer 2007 and has also worked at various sporting/charity events throughout Glasgow.
Vicky Smyth

Vicky has been studying and practising shiatsu for 20 years. Graduating in Glasgow and a post graduate of the Shiatsu College of Norwich, Vicky has been fortunate to study advanced techniques with many inspiring and internationally respected teachers, most notably Clifford Andrews and Pauline Sasaki.
She has worked in many different settings and clinics in Glasgow including Health Board initiatives. Vicky is a regular teacher on the 3 year diploma course at the Glasgow School of Shiatsu, and has organised a variety of workshops and teaching for other shiatsu schools.
She began her Reiki training in 1990 and in 2008 she became a master. Reiki enhances her shiatsu work and connection to the body's energy.
Vicky is a practitioner and teacher member of the register of the Shiatsu Society, the regulatory body whose standards serve as benchmarks for European practice in general.

Pete is a qualified Hypnotherapist, with a diploma in Clinical Hypnosis from the London College of Clinical Hypnosis and is a member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He has been practising for 5 years and is now based in three Glasgow clinics including balance.
Clinical hypnosis can be used for a number of treatments including: smoking cessation; weight loss; anxiety; stress; panic attacks; phobias; pain control; and insomnia.
Pete also recently received his practitioners diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis.

Mags Young
Mags is a qualified Holistic Therapist and a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists. Since gaining qualifications in 2005 she has had significant experience in the profession providing a range of treatments to private-based clients, a service to NHS staff and also parents of sick children based at The Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow. The latter service has been highly evaluated, with a focus on relieving stress and symptoms associated with dealing with very difficult and challenging situations. Since qualifying, Mags has continued with her professional development and builds on the treatments she can provide to clients.
