This yoga class is for anyone looking for a focused, self aware practice whether they are aged 60 and over, or not! Yoga helps increase energy levels, flexibility and fitness. It's proven to have a positive effect on muscle and joint stiffness, neck and back problems, arthritis, high blood pressure, shortness of breath and bad circulation. Yoga is also a great way to relax, relieve stress and improve sleep. Poses can be adapted to individual ability, using a chair, bolster and blocks for support and balance. If you are a complete beginner or have limited capability, then please call balance first to check the suitability of the class.
