| Description | Yin yoga targets the deeper connective tissues in the body. Yin is said to "help maintain or recover the natural range of movement in the joints and it's a practice that you can take with you through all stages of your life whatever your strength, flexibility or age". It's seen as a complement to the yang style of yoga normally practiced. Each class will focus on different asana (held for up to 5 minutes) to target mainly the spine, lower back and hips - joints that generally require extra care and attention. They will also help to stimulate the flow of chi to create a balancing effect on the body. Open to all. |
