Backbends develop strength and flexibility of the spine whilst energizing the whole body. The openness it provides releases tension, making the mind awake and clear.
The workshop will begin with poses to open the hips and prepare the shoulders and spine for invigorating backbends, progressing safely through a series of sequential stages. The latter part of the workshop will comprise poses to counter the backbends and aid relaxation.
This workshop is not suitable for absolute beginners.
