This six week course, suitable for those with little or no yoga experience, is a blend of carefully paced yoga practices to help regain stamina, flexibility and body confidence. The emphasis of the course will be to develop body awareness and for students to move at their own pace. It aims to meet the needs of the participants, as well as building a simple modified sun salutation sequence and will include some standing postures. The programme will also include simple mindfulness practices, relaxation training and restorative postures to help rebalance the body and mind, and build resilience.
Students may wish to repeat the block to refine postures or move onto one of the other classes offered at balance.
