Do I need to be fit to start Yoga?

Absolutely not. Yoga is suitable for all ages and all shapes and sizes. You learn to adapt the practice to suit your needs.

What should I wear?

You should wear loose comfortable clothing. Yoga is practised in bare feet.

Can I eat before class?

It is best to allow for at least 3/4 hours digestion time if you have had a main meal. Otherwise if just a light snack, then give yourself at least 1 hour. If you really need to eat before then have a yogurt or a piece of fruit, or vegetable soup. Anything that is easy to digest.

Is there somewhere to change?

Yes, we have both male and female changing areas.

Do I need any equipment?

All equipment is provided. If you continue with the practice of yoga it is recommended to purchase your own equipment. This will also help you develop a home practice.
