Courses

Beginners Start Up 

Whether this is your first lesson, or you are seeking a refresher after some time away from the mat, our classes and workshops for beginners are a great introduction to the benefits of yoga. These classes will set you up for a great and rewarding practice and are open to men and women of all ages and fitness levels.

Beginners Start up Courses and our One Day Introduction, introduce basic yoga postures and breathing techniques, as well as the principles of relaxation and meditation.

Beginners Plus is for those who want more time before making the transition to a Level 1 class. You will learn new poses as well as consolidate familiar ones. It is also designed for those who have had time away from yoga and want a quick refresher.

Beginners Plus

A follow on from the Beginners Start Up class, Beginners Plus is for those who wish for more time before making the transition to a Level 1 class.

You will learn new poses as well as consolidate familiar ones.  This class is also great for those who have had some time away from yoga and want a quick refresher.

Pregnancy Yoga

These classes are suitable for expectant mums at least 13 weeks into their pregnancy, no previous experience of yoga is required. Incorporating specially tailored postures and breathing techniques, these classes encourage relaxation, strengthen and tone the body, and help to build confidence as your body changes. Advice and information are also provided on all stages of pregnancy, delivery and the post natal stage.

Please consult with your doctor that you are able to undertake gentle exercise. It is advised not to participate in the class if you have a history of repeated miscarriage.

Post Natal Yoga

For mums and babies 6 weeks to 6 months, this is a fun and informative class. No previous experience of yoga is required. For mum, the class will focus on gentle exercise to realign the spine and strengthen abdominal and pelvic floor muscles and also encourage relaxation. For baby there is 10-15 minutes of baby stretching at the end of the class. This class is also a great way to meet other mums with tea and biscuits are provided at the end.

Please consult with your doctor that you and your baby are able to join the class. If you underwent a caesarean section you must have a 6 week check from your GP before attending. If any perineal sutures (tears) are in place it is advised to wait 3-4 weeks and for the wound to be comfortable before attending.
