About Gerry Kielty, Principal Yoga Teacher

First qualified as an Iyengar Teacher in 1995, Gerry latterly studied and taught Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. He was fortunate to have studied both with BKS Iyengar and Shri. K. Pattabhi Jois.

Over the years Gerry has developed his own style of unique sequencing that focuses on precision and alignment. Integrated with a steady asana flow, his emphasis is that yoga practice should feel therapeutic. The balance approach is enthusiastic, encouraging and tinged with an all important sense of humour!

Yoga is a journey and with the wealth of teaching experience at balance, you will practice safely with adjustments and modifications.

Ilustrating fifteen benefits including lower stress levels, increased flexibility, improved sexual function, relief from chronic back pain,  improved sense of balance and stronger bones to name but a few!
