Katie’s introduction to yoga and the Balance centre began seven years ago when she came along to a beginners start up weekend taught by Gerry.

She very quickly became hooked, getting a sense early on how yoga can nourish and enrich your life in a quietly accessible way.

Undertaking teacher training she gained her diploma at Balance in March 2019. Still a constant at class, ever committed to the steady improvement of a sustained practice.

Her gentle diligent approach supports the development of a strong informed practice.

With an emphasis on detail and precision of alignment, students can build a framework in which to understand and challenge their own limits.
