Chiropractic / complementary therapy /yoga individual tuition appointments

Please note that we require 24 hours notice for cancellation of appointments to allow time for another patient to fill the appointment. Failure to provide 24 hours notice will incur a £35 charge.



A place is only guaranteed once payment has been received.

Course, Workshop or Event | Cancellations

Once payment has been made, if cancellation is made more than 72 hours prior to the start of the course, a full refund can be issued. With less than 72 hours notice, then a refund cannot be given, however, if a replacement student is found then the payment can be applied to another course. Once the class/course has started, no refunds or credits will be issued. No refunds will be issued unless balance cancels  the course, workshop or event.

Class Cancellations | Pre-booked Drop ins, Term Block Bookings and Flexi Passes

If you pre-book into a class you have up to three hours before the start time to change your booking. If you have booked and cancelled the class online, before the three hour window, cancelling will not refund your payment automatically onto your card, but will return the reservation type into your MindBody account to be used on another class of the same type. Cancellations made after the class has started will be charged in full. No refunds will be issued unless balance cancels  the class. Some exceptions may be allowed but this is solely at the discretion of balance.

Class Attendance

Students are advised to attend the same class regularly each week. However, regular classes (i.e. NOT specialist) missed within a course booking period may be made up within that period by attending other classes if space is available. Some classes may be too full to offer this facility. Please check. Missed classes cannot be carried forward to the following course booking.

N.B. Transfer classes are a courtesy. If making up a missed class you will be asked to wait at reception until a few minutes before the class starts to ensure class has availability.

All students are advised to arrive at least 5 minutes before class is due to start to ensure you enter the studio on time. If class already started you may not be admitted into the class.

Please be aware that treatments and therapies are in progress throughout the centre. We therefore ask that noise levels are kept to a minimum before/after class

Class Cancellations

Should a class be cancelled within a term. Those students who have purchased a block booking for the affected class will be credited with one transfer onto another class within the same term i.e. 10 weeks.

Gift Vouchers

Products, treatments and classes are regularly revised and are subject to change. What is on offer at the time of gift voucher purchase may differ from what is available at the time of voucher redemption. No refund on a monetary voucher will be given. Gift vouchers are not transferable. If a voucher is specified for a particular treatment or course and those services are no longer available then a monetary voucher will be reissued to the value of the original purchase amount.

Returns Policy

All items can be returned for an exchange or a full refund.

To return an unsuitable or faulty item you have two options which must be made within 14 days of purchase:

If you ordered online

In the first instance please send an email to us detailing your order number, name, daytime telephone number, address and the problem you have with your purchase.

We will confirm if everything is ok for a refund or exchange.

Print out and fill in our Returns Form ( PDF) and send with your order to 118/122 Napiershall Street, North Kelvinside, Glasgow, G20 6HT. Please ensure that you obtain certificate of posting as your insurance against loss or damage.

In the case of a refund your credit/debit card will be credited and for exchanges an additional delivery charge applies.

We’ll send an email as confirmation when we have completed the procedure.

If you purchased from our shop

Please contact balance on 0141 332 8800 or email us detailing the problem with the purchase. If everything is ok for a refund or exchange, please bring your order back into the shop with a copy of your sales receipt and we will happily  refund your payment. NB if you ordered online, you can return goods directly to the shop if you have proof of your order number.

All returns and exchanges* must be received in new condition , without sign of wear and in their original packaging with all tags and attachments that originally came with your purchase. Please do not tape or deface the packaging. Manufacturer’s defects are required to be returned within 14 days of purchase.

We will return all monies by the same method of payment originally used.

Please note we suggest using Royal Mail recorded or Parcel Force at your local Post Office, to send goods back to us.
